"I’ve always had a deep connection to the outdoors, and moving to West Virginia for school only strengthened that bond. Exploring the state’s trails, parks, and natural landscapes has inspired both my personal life and my design work. Creating these stickers allowed me to translate that passion into visual storytelling, celebrating the wildlife, nature, and unique character of West Virginia State Parks. Through this project, I hope to encourage others to explore, appreciate, and connect with nature. It’s deeply rewarding to create work that reflects my love for the outdoors and the places that have become meaningful to me."

Design Goal
The goal of this project was to create two complementary series of stickers that celebrate the diversity and character of West Virginia State Parks while appealing to a wide audience of outdoor enthusiasts. Together, the two series aim to showcase the natural beauty, adventure, and unique identities of West Virginia State Parks.
Pendant Flag Series
Pendant Flag Series
The first sticker series features pendant-flag designs and celebrate a range of state forests and parks. Inside the pendant flags, small details of playful and approachable, illustrations draw inspiration from distinctive park elements and scenery, capturing the spirit of adventure and natural beauty. Using vibrant colors, simplified shapes, and expressive, abstract details these stickers convey energy and excitement. These designs are available at many state parks throughout the state, invite views to collect as they explore.
Animals Series
Animals Series
The second sticker series takes the form of emblems, capturing the essence of individual West Virginia State Parks, in a unique outdoorsy style. Each sticker features a signature animal alongside illustrations of landscapes, plants, and subtle environmental details. Symbolic motifs highlight the unique character of each park. Earthy tones and a natural, colour palette reinforce the connection to the outdoors. The result is a collection of stickers that feel both adventurous and inviting, appealing to those who appreciate nature and exploration.
