Design Goal

Just Peachy is an illustrated typographic poster where the words themselves form the shape of a peach. The design combines playful typography with pastel hues and gradient shading to evoke a soft, cheerful, and vibrant aesthetic. The goal of this project was to explore how typography could function as both text and illustration. By shaping the letters to form a peach, the design emphasizes the playful nature of the phrase while maintaining legibility and visual balance. Key Aspects of Design

Typography:  Letters were custom drawn to fit into the form of the peach, demonstrating type as a visual element and enhancing the conceptual playfulness of the design.

Colour and Gradient: A palette of pastel pinks, oranges, and soft highlights was used with subtle gradients to create depth, warmth, and a inviting feel.

Composition: The arrangement emphasizes the peach shape while balancing negative space, ensuring readability and visual clarity. The design guides the viewer’s eye naturally across the poster, highlighting the text and illustration simultaneously.

Visual Tone: The combination of playful type, soft gradients, and pastel colors creates a whimsical, friendly aesthetic that is both memorable and visually cohesive.
